Birth Time…
Why is knowing your specific birth time so important, and what are some ways to find out what it is if you don’t know?
Our Human Design chart is derived from the exact moment of our birth. What was happening within the cosmos at that specific time gives us the intricacies of information within our body graph. The more correct our time is, the more correct that information will be. There are some very specific pieces of information that our chart can tell us that can shift and change within minutes on the day we’re born. To get these specifics we want our time to be as accurate as possible. However, if you’ve tried all the avenues (options listed below) and are still struggling to find your exact time, all is not lost! There is still a lot of useful information that doesn’t change as quickly (think changes of many hours vs. a few minutes).
So, what do you do if you don’t know your birth time? Well, there are a few different avenues you can explore:
FAMILY: If possible, the first place to try is your parents. Maybe they’ve written it down somewhere in a special baby book. Or maybe one of them has amazing memory and that piece of information has stuck in their brain! (Fingers crossed!!)
BIRTH CERTIFICATE: Check your birth certificate. Some countries will put time of birth on their birth certificates (others unfortunately don’t). Sometimes you can even apply for something called a long form birth certificate which can have the time of birth on it.
HOSPITAL: Try contacting the hospital you were born in. Sometimes they’ll have that information on file and can give it to you quickly and easily. Sometimes you’ll need to fill out an application and pay a small fee to have them look it up.
